Payments
We accept most major payment methods via our online shop including bank transfer and pay on collection. If that’s no good to you, contact us and we can make other arrangements. The current list of payment options available:
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on collection
- Most major credit and debit cards
- PayPal (an additional 2% fee applies)
- Layby (offered on orders over $250 with 10% deposit and 10 weeks to pay. Goods are shipped or available for collection on completion of payments. Cancel at any time prior to shipment and receive a full refund minus the deposit – deposits are non-refundable). Your layby arrangement will be set up as a private web page where you can pay at your convenience. We send a weekly email reminder with details of how to make a payment and the list of items on Layby. You can pay as many or as few of those installments as you like within that 10-week period providing all ten payments are made by the deadline.

Packaging
Typically, we try to use as much recycled packaging as possible. This does mean that your boxes may not look the best when they arrive. However, it also means we minimise waste. We take particular care to ensure all the tools arrive undamaged and in some cases this may mean partially dismantling your tool. Most of our packages arrive with an Old Tool Shop logo on them. If your purchase needs to be in plain packaging or you want a personal message adding, please let us know.
