This vintage Falcon No. F151 flat sole spokeshave was manufactured in Australia by Pope Products and remains completely original throughout. Built to the classic 151 pattern, it features dual knurled adjusting screws for precise cutter setup.
Whether you are shaping chair legs, chamfering edges, or working smooth curves, this tool provides excellent feedback and control.

Original Falcon Pope Cutter: Stamped “FALCON / POPE / MADE IN AUSTRALIA” with a generous 13mm of usable steel below the adjustment slots.
Cast Lever Cap: Retains the original “FALCON” arched casting and clamping screw.
Clean Flat Sole & Tight Throat: Smooth ground sole plate, flat with an undamaged throat opening.
Dual Screw Adjustment: Enables quick depth regulation and lateral cutter alignment.
Condition Note:
This spokeshave remains in good, solid working order. The original dark finish shows honest finish wear along the wing handles from prior workshop use.
The blade edge is straight and clean, requiring only a quick touch up to be bench ready.
