Vintage Disston 12″ Steel Back Tenon Saw
Classic Mid-Century Backsaw | Straight Saw Plate & Fine 12 TPI Profile
This vintage Disston 12-inch tenon saw dates to around the 1960s or 1970s. Featuring a pressed steel spine and a comfortable closed wooden handle, it offers a lightweight and nimble feel on the bench.
Although it shows honest workshop patina, the saw plate remains nice and straight along its entire cutting length.

Condition Note:
Overall, the saw is structurally sound with a firm handle connection. However, the teeth will require a light touch-up with a saw file before hitting the workbench. We haven’t touched this saw, so the plate and back can certainly be cleaned up more than shown.
