Stanley Bailey No.24 transitional plane

At 8 inches long the Stanley Bailey No. 24 Transitional plane is a great little tool and a rare find in Australia. This one looks good, comes with the original Stanely Rule and Level 2″ iron.  The patent date, name and number are punched into the toe and are still very clear.  The patterned lever cap which is typical of these planes is also a nice touch.  The iron which is sharp, has loads of life left in it.  Great little plane whether it’s going to sit on a shelf or be put to work.
