This Yankee No.1555 breast drill is being sold in parts due to some parts being broken or missing, ideal for restorers, machinists, and collectors seeking original components to complete or repair their own drills. The 1555 is one of the most complex and desirable Yankee drills ever made, and original parts are increasingly scarce. The drive type selector was seized and the grub screw holding the main shaft on the drill was missing. Otherwise, it is all in excellent condition. The drill is the one in the photographs.

Bevelled drive gears
Original bevelled drive shaft gears connecting main drive to the shaft (sold individually, but two per drill). Teeth and bearing surfaces all in excellent condition. Oilways may need a clean. Ideal to replace existing with broken teeth.
