This Yankee No.1555 breast drill is being sold in parts due to some parts being broken or missing, ideal for restorers, machinists, and collectors seeking original components to complete or repair their own drills. The 1555 is one of the most complex and desirable Yankee drills ever made, and original parts are increasingly scarce. The drive type selector was seized and the grub screw holding the main shaft on the drill was missing. Otherwise, it is all in excellent condition. The drill is the one in the photographs.

Main crank arm
Main crank arm with speed selector. Includes with original turned wooden crank handle removed from a Yankee No.1555 breast drill. The grip is solid with no cracks, and the finish shows typical workshop wear. The main crank and handle works properly including the speed selector, has decent bearing surfaces and other surfaces show some workshop wear. Little to no slop in handle.

A great replacement part for anyone restoring a drill with a missing or damaged crank handle.
