This Yankee No.1555 breast drill is being sold in parts due to some parts being broken or missing, ideal for restorers, machinists, and collectors seeking original components to complete or repair their own drills. The 1555 is one of the most complex and desirable Yankee drills ever made, and original parts are increasingly scarce. The drive type selector was seized and the grub screw holding the main shaft on the drill was missing. Otherwise, it is all in excellent condition. The drill is the one in the photographs.

Main Frame Only
This is the main cast‑iron body of the Yankee No.1555 drill. Structurally sound with no cracks. Likely to have been refinished. Bearing surfaces and threads all in good shape. Comes with brass bearing locking ring. Grub screw for main drive shaft not included.
