Description
This German made Henry Boker saw set is complete! These types of saw sets are normally ten-a-penny and we would not ordinarily bother selling them. But this one is different. Being an early Henry Boker adds a little kudos to the tool, but what’s really special is the clamp on the tool. These clamps are almost always lost. However, the clamp is key to reproducing the same set on each tooth. Set the position of the clamp next to the appropriate sized plate slot and bend until the clamp touches the saw plate. This gives you a repeatable set on each tooth. Smallest slot looks to be about a 1/32″ while the biggest slot is about 5/32″.
A very simple tool which is unlikely to suffer the wear and tear issues of the more modern plier type saw sets.
