J Marples and Sons Spokeshave. Made in Sheffield England.
Appears to be a boxwood spokeshave. Quite yellow for boxwood. It appears to have the three-cloverleaf mark on it making it a Marples, but the logo is difficult to be 100% sure of. 10 1/2 inches long. It’s quite a light and pretty little spokeshave with a radius to the front edge of the mouth. The radius was likely added to disguise the wear, but there are still some minor signs of wear there. The mouth is however still reasonably tight making it a useable tool. The blade edge has plenty of life left in it, but it also does have a little bend to it on one corner.
Still a useful tool, otherwise in good order.
