Joplin saw vice

Description

This Joplin saw vice is complete and operational. Made in Australia. There is a spring for opening the vice jaws which is present, but not correctly set properly so the jaws do not open with the spring. The jaws do relax when the locking lever is disengaged. The locking lever is intact (unlike so many others we have seen). The nut to tighten the ball joint is supposed to have a lever welded on it. Ours was broken and sharp. We filed the nut down, just to prevent any cuts. The nut can easily be tightened or loosened using an adjustable spanner. There is a bit of surface rust on this tool so it would benefit from a cleaning and repainting.
