Preston’s are pretty collectible so having this No.77 sash fillister plane in your collection could be special. Nice and crisp condition, but with obvious signs of use. The only fault we can see is that the fence boxing has previously been splintered and glued back up. The repair isn’t perfect although it looks like it was done a long time ago. Brass adjustable depth stop works well, blade is sharp, knicker and original wedges are all present. All in all, an original sash fillister in used, but cared for condition.
