The Record No.A151 Spokeshave was developed for shaping wood surfaces and working curves. As a result, it became a favourite amongst chair makers, wheelwrights, pattern makers and craftsmen producing curved timber components.
Breaking for parts as it was supplied incomplete
The blade on this example show almost no signs of use with the originals grind marks still evident on the faces of the blade.
