Early Stanley No.100 squirrel plane.  Rule and Level iron and slotted screw making it one of the first offered by Stanley. Definitely a collector’s item.

Description

Nice early Stanley No.100 squirrel plane with Stanley Rule and Level iron and slotted screw.  Knurled thumb screws were used on later models.  The model was introduced in 1898 and reputed to have only kept that slotted screw for a short time, but we know it was still until 1906.  Made in USA.  Looks like it has been refinished but would still suit collectors as you don’t find many this age.
