Description
A very tidy later example of a Stanley 78 rebate plane. Made in England. It comes complete with depth stop, fence, and knicker which has seen very little use. Stanley blade which is made in England has plenty of life in it and is reasonably sharp and edge is in good condition. The plane shows little to no signs of wear, only minor corrosion and no damage. Sole is fine, but unfortunately no photographs available. Also noted after photography that the thumbscrews for the depth stop and fence have been switched. Will be corrected before sale.
Give it a quick hone and put it to work.
