Description
Good honest Stanley Bailey No. 4 1/2 Plane. Made in England. Later model with brown plastic handles. Blade also made in England has had a small back bevel put on the face of it. The face of the blade is not polished and has the original manufacturing marks in it. So rather than polish it, we decided to test the beveled face for planing against the grain or highly figured woods. It works surprisingly well! Otherwise, a good honest user in original condition.
