We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw this vintage Starrett (L.S.S Co Athol Mass) No.132 12″ level in its original box. Made in USA Its original box is in amazing condition. It’s also in its original oil paper. Now look at the level. Looks a bit grubby and marked, maybe even rusted. It isn’t. That’s a protective oil or wax the previous owner applied. Under that it is pristine. The black looks dull and lifeless, but under that wax it’s immaculate. Definitely a new old stock tool. Strictly for collectors.
