Description
This early bullnose plane is believed to be by Joseph Wolstenholme and Sons manufactured in Sheffield, UK between 1882 and 1915. Still with its original blade. Bullnose planes are great for working up to edges, but the tapered design of this plane also allows you to put a small amount of skew in the blade even when in restricted space. We have seen these sold as infill planes after the owner fills the rear portion of the plane with a nice and comfortable hardwood infill. Lovely little plane in great condition.
