Domestic Shipping
We use Australia Post for all our domestic shipping except where this is not an option (parcels over the size limits). We pack using recycled packaging where possible. We also reuse boxes, packaging and wrap to limit our environmental impacts. We sometimes dismantle tools and add something rigidity to the box for larger fragile items such as jointer planes.
International Shipping
We use Australia Post for all our International shipping except where this is not an option (parcels over the size limits). We pack using recycled packaging where possible. We also reuse boxes, packaging and wrap to limit our environmental impacts. Packaging for overseas items is no different from packaging for local items.
Insurance
For higher value tools we will include insurance. We add this at our own cost to protect both us and the buyer. It’s all part of the service.
Shipping costs
We charge the standard Australia Post shipping rates for our shipping services. When purchasing multiple items the website will calculate a combined shipping cost. Occasionally it gets this calculation wrong. If we spot it, we will automatically provide a refund of the excess charges. If we don’t, or you would like some clarification of the charges before ordering, then just drop us a line.
