Description
An earlier model Record No. 05 1/2 plane. Made in England. War finish marked on the lateral adjuster dating it to 1939-1945. Good condition with original Best Crucible Cast Tungsten Steel iron. The sole has been repainted with what looks like a pretty good match for the original colour. The handles are in their original condition, so you might want to refinish them.
2 3/8″ blade has plenty of no life left in it. Blade has been hollow ground so won’t take much to get it bench ready.
