Description
Nice brass router plane which is supplied with the user made base. Unknown manufacturer, but has J and B cast into the body. Same size as a Stanley 71 or Record 071. Cutter has been sharpened on the skew and has a width of about 1/2″. Sharp, but not as sharp as it should or could be. The 16″ base allows for excellent contact when routing out larger voids. We often find that routers mounted to boards are in better condition and this is no exception. Hone up that cutting edge and you will have a fine and rather pretty looking router.
