Nice vintage Brades Co Warrington style 8oz cross peen hammer. Appears to be the original handle. Head is secure, but a couple of nails appear to have been hammered into it to keep it tight. Previous owner has overcleaned the head and revarnished the handle. We believe the hammer to be number 1739, but it is a guess because the numbering is heavily worn. The fact that the logo and isn’t in the typical oval and the brand name is listed Brades Co. leads us to believe this may be an older example from this company (estimated around the period of the 1st World War). 300g with handle. Perfect user.
