Description
F Dick X31 goosewing/butchers axe head from Germany. With a large 1.7kg (3.7lbs) head was likely used for quartering livestock or game. Some upper edge damage can be easily ground out. Long 8 inch cutting edge with a tapered beard makes it a good slicing implement however it remains unsharpened. Has a pitted surface but still serviceable. Eye looks in good condition. Poll has been rolled over likely used as a hammer too many times.
