Description
Wooden toothing plane with an Aaron Hildick (which later became Henry Taylor) Diamic warranted cast steel 2″ toothing blade. Made in England. Not a commonly found in Australia.
If you have never used a toothing iron, you are in for a treat. These will cut the most figured and gnarly wood leaving a flat surface with tiny grooves in. The grooves can then be smoothed out using just a cabinet scraper or scraping plane. Appears to be all original and the iron’s grooves are in great condition.
