Description
At 8 inches long the Sargent 3410 transitional plane would have been equivalent to a Stanley No.3 in size. This example, rarely available in Australia is a peach with the original Sargent iron. The name and number punched into the toe of the beech body looks as crisp as the day it was sold. The patterned lever cap which is typical of these planes is also a nice touch. The iron which is sharp, but could be better, has plenty of life left in it. Great little plane whether it’s going to sit on a shelf or be put to work.
