This sweet little Carpenter’s Pencil Holder in silver would make a lovely gift. Just over 3.5″ long. Especially suited to you if the initials or name GOO mean anything to you or the date 21 April 2013. Hallmarked as Birmingham, England 1909-1910 sterling silver, the inscription is in-keeping with the manufacturer’s mark. A really lovely object. There is some damage to the lid in that the cap of the lid’s soldering has given way along one edge. It’s still intact, but would benefit from a simple repair. Good luck finding the right size pencil if you wanted to use it. You may have to resort to spokeshaving a new one down to size.
