Turner No. 4 1/2 woodworking plane plane. Made in Australia.
These planes are becoming rare and sought after. This one is in excellent original condition with an almost unused original Turner iron. Original red permaloid handles. Tiny knick out of one corner of the levercap, but chrome in great condition. Black paint appears to be original and 98% there. A gem of a tool which has obviously not been used to any extent. We haven’t even cleaned this one as the new owner will spend far more time with it than we could, so would ideally suit a collector.
Blade will need a quick sharpen if the owner ever plans to cut wood with it.
