Description
Stanley 102 Rule and Level block plane from 1909 or earlier. Made in USA. S casting mark in body Nice little plane in solid condition with original iron with plenty of life left in it. Japanning is probably less than 30%. Blade is sharp, but would benefit from honing. Tightening screw has a slight bend in it which causes approximately 2mm of wobble in the wheel. Probably caused by overtightening at some point, but it is solid and it is secure when tightened. Surprisingly heavy compared to later versions.
