Description
A later model Stanley Bailey No. 5 1/2 plane likely from the 1970s. Made in England. Good condition with original blade.
2 3/8″ blade has plenty of no life left in it. The replacement Australian blade is square and sharp. Reinforcing webs on the sole.
Plastic handles. The front knob has had some heat damage to it, but it is smooth in the hand. Except for the blade and knob, the plane is otherwise in good condition. Great user plane ready to work in a handy size for larger workers or for small board jointing.
