Really nice Stanley Bedrock 603 smooth soled plane. Made in USA. Bedrocks are uncommon in Australia, but the 603 is quite difficult to find in this condition. Type 5 which is 1911. Two patent dates on the sole and 1″ depth adjuster. Appears to be all there and in great condition. No problems with the mouth or the iron. Marked with the T-type logo, the original iron has a very healthy length. Rosewood is all intact with no evidence of any repair. Mismatched brass nuts from the front knob and rear handle. One is the newer wasted type while the other is the barrel type. The iron hasn’t been sharpened squarely so although it can just be used the lateral needs to be heavily skewed to account for it. Would recommend it be adjusted over time. Otherwise, all original and bench ready.
