This vintage all steel saw set is complete! Not sure where it was made as the stamp isn’t clear, but looks like it says Warranted, Steel and maybe has a No. 27 on it. These types of saw sets are normally ten-a-penny and we would not ordinarily bother selling them. But this one is different. It has the usually missing clamp still on the tool. These clamps are almost always lost. However, the clamp is key to reproducing the same set on each tooth. Set the position of the clamp next to the appropriate sized plate slot and bend until the clamp touches the saw plate. This gives you a repeatable set on each tooth. Smallest slot looks to be about smaller than 1/32″ while the biggest slot is about 2/32″. This means that it’s probably for tenon saws. There is a bit of wear and wear to some of the slots.
A very simple tool which is unlikely to suffer the wear and tear issues of the more modern plier type saw sets.
