Not for the feint hearted, this Ward and Payne Heavy Duty ‘Pig Sticker’ mortice chisel is a serious tool. Weighing in at over half a kilogram with a blade 1/2″ wide, and 7 inches of chisel it’s a beast. The blade has been hollow ground and has a secondary bevel applied. What looks like the original handle, has a chunk missing. No leather cushion present between blade and handle. One side has the W&P and the crossed hammers and the other Ward, the logo and Warranted.
