Titan Firmer Chisel Set
Firmer chisels are thicker than paring chisels and bevel edge chisels and thinner than mortice chisels. They are generally used with a mallet and often have reinforced handles in the area they are struck (particularly the larger chisels). As such they can be struck harder than bevel edge chisels and can be used for deeper mortices. Unlike mortice chisels, they are not generally used for levering out deep waste material.
